Prior to joining the O’Sullivan Sneddon Law team, Sophie was a solicitor at Thomsons, advising and acting principally in regulatory, contractual and commercial matters. She has also served as Associate to a Judge of the District Court of Queensland, gaining a unique insight into litigation and judicial processes and decision-making.
Shaped in part by her previous career in clinical nursing, Sophie has also worked as an anaesthetic nurse at the Queensland Children’s Hospital, which sharpened her ability to analyse complex information, perform under pressure, and make difficult and time sensitive decisions.
Sophie works with clients to understand their objectives and deliver clear, effective, practical and cost effective advice. Legal disputes can be costly and stressful. Sophie is committed to helping clients navigate complex issues and resolve disputes with confidence and clarity.
Sophie was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2025. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the Queensland University of Technology and a Bachelor of Health Science (Nursing) from Flinders University.
Fluent in Mandarin, Sophie can assist Mandarin speaking clients with any of their legal needs.
